Although the beavers have long since gone, the town’s crest depicting such an animal by water still remains to this day around the town.
Standing majestically over the town is Beverley Minster, this is in full view from the Beverley Holiday Park. For 1300 years the Minster has seen lots of changes and has also undergone 'an' on-going extensive restoration. It is no longer just a place of worship it is now home to several festivals and events.
York also is host too many locations of historical significance from Minsters to nation trust gardens.
